We build, sustain, and grow iconic beauty brands through disciplined stewardship.

We execute for growth in a way that endures.  We refine strategy with precision, protect brand equity without compromise, and foster partnerships that thrive.

That stewardship comes to life through three distinct service models — each one built to serve a different stage of brand growth and performance.

I.

The Refinery

For established brands that are ready to perform at a higher level. The Refinery is LXG’s full-service channel management offering — a rigorous, precision-driven process of repositioning, operational refinement, and strategic realignment designed to unlock growth without compromising the equity a brand has worked to build. For brands that have earned their place and need a disciplined partner to help them fully realize it.

II.

The Founders Room

The most elevated engagement LXG offers — and the most selective. The Founders Room is reserved for beauty brands at critical stages of growth where execution alone is not enough, and where the quality of strategic partnership is everything. Intentionally limited to 1-3 brands per category at any given time, its value is not scalable by design. That is precisely what makes it worth having.

III.

The Vault

An invitation-only discovery ecosystem for standout brands ready to be found by the right people. The Vault drives amplified awareness and trial through trusted, real-world influence — connecting brands directly with true beauty enthusiasts whose engagement goes far beyond a scroll. A closed-market engine for the kind of authentic consumer acquisition that paid distribution was never built to deliver.

Manifesto

The conduit between brand-retailer-consumer has long been managed by agencies and distributors whose economics and incentives are simple: more volume, more revenue. So they push. They place broadly. They fill doors without asking whether the placement protects the brand — and ignore the expert voice of the retailer far too often.

We came from this world. We saw what commission-driven, transactional channel management was doing to brands that deserved better.

We were built to replace that model. LXG is a luxury market development & management company  — retained, never commissioned. We operate as an embedded partner with the discipline, integrity, and long-view orientation of a seasoned in-house team. We don’t push product. We listen — to what is said, and what is not said — and we translate those insights into strategy that builds enduring brand success.

We are selective by design. We work with brands scaling with intention, and heritage brands determined to protect what they’ve earned. We partner with retailers who are ready to be genuinely heard. And for every brand and retailer we partner with — we go all in.

Luxury is built through discipline — not urgency. We are built the same way.

Decades Of Beauty + Retail Leadership

Lauren Cenzano and Liz Scott founded LXG Ventures to close the gap between brand ambition and what it takes to win in today’s increasingly complex retail landscape. Their combined experience brings together two critical sides of building enduring beauty brands: the intelligence and operating discipline behind the brand, and the relationships and retail strategy that bring it to market.

Cenzano served as President at Circana (formerly The NPD Group) and as a Board Member of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), advising senior executives at leading global beauty companies including LVMH, Estée Lauder, L’Oréal and Coty, high-growth brands including Tatcha, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Le Labo, and leading retailers including Sephora, Barneys New York, Harrods, and Amazon on how to win.

Her career spans executive leadership, market intelligence and commercial strategy and execution, followed by a decade building and scaling prestige beauty brands across retail and professional aesthetics.  Lean Management certification and training at Toyota in Japan shaped an operating discipline defined by rigor, attention to detail and a relentless focus on customer needs.

Scott spent a decade building and leading a luxury beauty distribution business, protecting iconic brands while identifying and developing emerging ones, and building their presence in the U.S. market.  Her experience includes global powerhouse brands such as Tom Ford, Acqua di Parma, SKII, Living Proof, as well as scaling indie brands such as One Love Organics, Ellis Brooklyn, Virtue, and Patchology. Her career spans Saks Fifth Avenue and Gilt, as well as deep relationships across leading retailers including Bluemercury, Credo, Violet Grey, Neiman Marcus, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie; influential specialty destinations including Aedes Perfumery, Gee Beauty, The Conservatory, The Webster; and a network of luxury hotels and hospitality partners.

Her expertise spans brand positioning, distribution strategy, strategic retail expansion, with particular depth in influential physical retail and the role it plays in building enduring brands.

Together, the founders are backed by a seasoned team of beauty and luxury professionals with experience spanning luxury beauty brands, growth acceleration, retail execution, education, and high-touch customer service.
